I'm at a point in my life where I don't feel like I'm going anywhere. Nothing's happening, I'm having anxiety problems which are keeping me from getting any kind of job, and I'm generally just stagnating. I'd honestly given up on the idea of school once I was out of high school, and especially after my failed year at SFA.
Last night, whilst watching Game of Thrones for the first time, and I had a conversation. During this conversation, she suggested I go back to school to get a degree in music/music history. I'd never thought about that. I LOVE music. I love to learn about music, genres, musicians, bands, equipment, etc.. Music is about the only thing I love more than dinosaurs. And she thinks I could be a really good music history teacher, seeing as I love to blather on to her about musicians and genres she couldn't give two shits about, plus a love of history is in my blood, coming from my father.
Now, I'm not going to rush into anything, that's how SFA happened. But I'll definitely take this into consideration. A degree like that won't get me any jobs any time soon, but I'll finally be getting off my ass and bettering myself.
What do you guys think? Any advice, words of encouragement, and whatnot?

Fantasy Arms Series
Lately I've been inspired by various fantasy stories and media, mostly LotR and D&D, so I've been drawing some fantasy weapons and shields. So for a bit, I'll be uploading various fantasy arms. It's all going to be on notebook paper, as I don't have any printer paper, what with being broke. So look forward to that for a bit.

Dinos and Ponies: A Double Review (SPOILERS)
Today I saw two very exciting things. Two very exciting things that would normally not be related in any way (outside of fanfiction), but today have found common ground, though a common ground that most wouldn't find positive. I'm referring to Jurassic World and the 100th episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. And the common ground I'm referring to is that fact that even though both of these things were awesome beyond belief, a lot of people have favored them negatively. All because people can't seem to have fun anymore.
Jurassic World
Twenty or so years after the disaster at the original Jurassic Park, InGen and Isla Nublar have b
Anxiety/Depression
I don't even know why I write these. No one, not even my boyfriend, ever looks at them. But that's not his fault. He never reads anyone's journals.
At any rate, I think I'm getting into a bad place right now. My job barely gives me any days of the week, much less hours. Because of this I never have any money to help out my boyfriend, who's in an extremely tight financial situation right now. Thusly, he has to pay for nearly everything. He has to pay for both our food all the time, all on top of gas, his pet birds, and college expenses. I have no fucking idea how he puts up with me at all, much less wants to live with me/get married one day.

I think that's wonderful! I don't have many words of advice since I haven't been to college yet officially, but I'm behind you all the way! It's a lot of work, though, so you should be prepared to drop everything while you get your degree.
